We're pleased to announce a special signing to take place at the Hollywood Collector's Show in Burbank, California in February with Carrie Fisher…and a pile of others!

Our Carrie Fisher signing is being held via our sister-site, Wattographs, which specializes in Star Wars autograph collecting. You can go directly to the signings page via this link (scroll down for Carrie Fisher).

In addition to our interactive celebrity address database and our monthly autograph signings, Autograph Central will also feature our custom Hollywood Sketch Card Series.

This will be your opportunity to get custom-drawn sketch cards of your favorite Hollywood characters. Our featured artists will draw any character you'd desire on these cards.

Previous artists in this series have included Joe Corroney, Scott Rosema and James Hodkins. We've got some great artists lined up for the new series and we hope to be making an announcement for our first in the next couple of weeks.

ADDRESS DATABASE SNEAK PEEK

Now you can get a sneak peek at some pages that we're considering for our address database. For starters, the database will be absolutely FREE. We do not plan to charge for the use of the database. We have no upcoming plans to charge for it. No other site online exists like this for no charge.

First up, here's a conceptual look at the landing page you'll get when you log in to the Address Book. Please note that NO links are working and the data you'll find on this page is merely a placeholder to show where things go.

The idea for this page is to be a one-stop place for users to keep track of their requests sent out to celebrities. As you can see, there is a place for you to keep track of each indivdual request, with easy access for reporting when you receive things. The best part is that when you update your own page, it will also update each celebrity's page as applicable.

Next, we have an individual celebrity page. Again, no links are working on this page, is it's merely designed to show how the page will look and where information will be found on the page.

There are numerous ways to interact with our database, both for the use of our entire community, as well as for the individual user. There are lots of address categories to help people focus their own collecting and maybe even expand their repetroire!

AUTOGRAPH CENTRAL RETURNS JANUARY 1, 2009

We're currently working on the back-end for the improved Autograph Central website.

Autograph Central is brought to you by the same folks who run the Wattographs Star Wars autograph collecting site.

Our new site will feature:

• A FREE interactive celebrity autograph database. No fees like some of the other sites charge!
• Monthly autograph signings from various celebrity genres. Photos will be available and you can send in your own items (photos, trading cards, action figures, posters, etc.) to be signed by our celebrities.
• Selected "Hollywood Sketch Card" signings—get custom sketch cards created by famous artists of any Hollywood-related character you can think of.
• Our worldwide staff will be attending selected conventions around the globe and will pick up autographs for you!
• Discussion forums where you can talk about autographs with other fans from around the planet.
• An autograph store, featuring all sorts of autographs from the common to the rare—brought to you with the same dedication to AUTHENTICITY that we have on our Wattographs site.
• Collecting resources and articles to help you be a better collector.
